GPS Speedometer, USB & Brake Light Wiring

The 1977 Kawasaki KZ650 Cafe Racer gets its GPS speedometer and USB power supply wired in, along with the brake light and a waterproof connector for easily disconnecting the rear lighting.

We decide where to mount the GPS speedometer and test the USB power supply before moving on to the rear lighting. The brake light wiring is connected and tested, including checking that the actual brake light operates correctly.

A waterproof wiring connector is also fitted to the rear seat and tail-light wiring, making it easier to disconnect the rear lights when the seat or tail piece needs to be removed. It's a small but useful detail that should make future maintenance and adjustments much less frustrating.

This is another practical stage in finishing the electrical system on the custom Kawasaki KZ650 Cafe Racer.
