Kawasaki KZ650 Frame Painting | LED Running Light

The 1977 Kawasaki KZ650 Cafe Racer frame gets prepared and painted as the build moves into the finishing stages, while we also experiment with ideas for a custom LED running light.

After grinding and preparing the frame, we apply the new paint and continue fitting the custom rear seat mount. The rear brake drum is also checked, while new billet foot pegs are fitted to give the KZ650 a cleaner, more modern look.

We also investigate a custom LED running light and headlight setup, looking at different ways to incorporate modern LED lighting into the cafe racer without compromising the overall design. With several new parts arriving, the KZ650 is beginning to look much closer to the finished bike.
