Sourcing Custom Parts for the Honda CB350 Café Racer

The Honda CB350 café racer build is underway, and in this episode I start sourcing and test-fitting the custom parts that will help shape the finished motorcycle. I'm also dismantling more of the bike and taking a closer look at the work that needs to be done to turn this partly built 1971 Honda CB350 Scrambler into my own custom build.

There's plenty going on in this episode, from test fitting the café racer seat and working on the fuel tank and wire wheels, to removing the centre stand and silencers, sorting out the exhaust heat shields and looking at the wiring and controls.

The bike already came with a number of modifications, so this is as much about deciding what works as it is about fitting new parts. Some components can be refurbished or adapted, while others will need replacing or modifying to fit the direction of the build.

This is still very much the early stage of the build, but the direction of the bike is starting to become clearer. I'll be combining the classic Honda CB350 platform with café racer styling, scrambler influences and a mixture of new, refurbished and custom-made parts.
