Ducati Monster 695 Café Racer | Removing the Emissions Canister

The Ducati Monster 695 café racer build continues with the removal of the emissions canister, fuel system modifications, new fuel lines and a range of custom motorcycle fabrication and fitting work.

With the Monster stripped down, the emissions canister and associated components are removed as part of simplifying the fuel system. The new fuel lines are fitted and routed away from the heat of the cylinders, while the individual air pod filters are also worked into the new intake setup.

The throttle system gets some attention too. New throttle grips need to be modified to fit the controls correctly, with the throttle cable checked and adjusted to suit.

The exhaust system is repainted before being test fitted back onto the Ducati, while work continues on the electrical tray and the positioning of the ignition coils and regulator. A custom mounting solution is fabricated to accommodate the relocated components.

The custom foot controls also start to take shape, with billet foot pegs requiring modification to work with the Monster's existing setup.

This stage of the Ducati Monster 695 custom café racer build is all about removing unnecessary components, improving the routing of the fuel and electrical systems, and adapting standard and aftermarket parts to create the finished motorcycle.
