Café Racer | Proper 2K Paint Job

The Ducati Monster 695 café racer gets a second custom fuel tank paint job using proper 2K paint and clearcoat. After the previous paint failed to deliver, this stage of the Ducati Monster custom motorcycle build produces much better results, alongside wheel decals, gold-painted foot peg supports and more finishing work.

The fuel tank is prepared and resprayed with 2K paint, followed by 2K clearcoat to create a more durable and professional-looking finish. This second attempt transforms the appearance of the Ducati Monster café racer and brings the custom paint job much closer to the intended design.

The motorcycle also gets custom decals and stickers applied to the wheels, while the foot peg support frame is resprayed gold using engine heat-resistant paint. The rear exhaust pipe remains wrapped with lava wrap, and more wiring is wrapped and tidied around the custom LED rear light.

Further work includes checking the oil catch can tank and completing more of the small finishing details that are bringing this Ducati Monster 695 custom motorcycle project towards completion.
