Ducati Monster 695 Café Racer | Switching Gear

The Ducati Monster 695 café racer build continues with custom handlebar switches, motorcycle wiring modifications and chopped rear foot peg frames. This stage of the Ducati Monster custom motorcycle project focuses on cleaning up the wiring and refining the controls as the café racer moves towards completion.

The custom handlebar switchgear uses a combination of lockable and momentary switches, but working out the starter button and kill switch wiring proves challenging without a useful Ducati Monster 695 wiring diagram. More of the wiring harness is rerouted through the frame to keep it hidden and tidy.

The rear foot peg frames are also chopped to accommodate a single foot rest, with the modified parts test painted before final finishing. Further work includes the LED headlights, timing belt covers, wet sanding the fuel tank and fitting new fuel pipe connectors.

Another round of electrical work, fabrication and finishing brings this Ducati Monster 695 café racer closer to its final custom motorcycle configuration.
