Custom Fuel Tank Paint

The Ducati Monster 695 café racer gets a major custom motorcycle transformation with a custom-painted fuel tank, pin striping and a JPS-inspired design. More electrical work, LED lighting and finishing details also move this Ducati Monster custom build closer to completion.

The fuel tank is prepared and painted to create a distinctive new look for the café racer, with pin striping added to explore a classic JPS-inspired style. The custom paint job becomes one of the major visual changes to the Ducati Monster.

The electrical system is also tidied up, with the headlights, starter and kill switch wiring permanently connected. The foot peg mounting is resolved with an additional locking nut, while an oil catch can tank is fitted.

The custom rear light starts to take shape using an LED strip, and the failed exhaust paint leads to an investigation of heat-resistant exhaust wraps, including non-fiberglass lava wrap. This stage of the Ducati Monster 695 café racer build brings together custom paint, motorcycle electrics, LED lighting and fabrication as the custom motorcycle project approaches its final stages.
